As part of 'Brand India Campaign' to counter the multinational companies' (MNCs) propaganda against the Indian generic drugs in the African countries, Union Commerce Ministry will organize an 'Indo-Africa Pharma Business Meet' at Hyderabad from September 17 to 19.

The Department of Pharmaceuticals, in association with FICCI and other pharma organisations, is organising an international conference on pharmaceuticals in Mumbai on November 30, ahead of the proposed CPHI happening from next day, to showcase strength of Indian companies.

The Pharmaceutical Leadership Summit 2009 will be held at Mumbai on April 3, 2009. The event is being held in association with Pharmexcil, Indian Drug Manufacturer's Association (IDMA), Indian Pharmaceutical Associations (IPA) and the Organization of Pharmaceutical Producers of India (OPPI).
