The curtains for Arab Health, the second largest healthcare event in the world, is all set to go up on January 26, 2009 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Dubai. This four-day event, which covers the world's largest and most comprehensive conference programme and exhibition of technologies, is organised by the Institute for International Research (IIR) Middle East.

The Arab Health exhibition and congress is the Middle East's premier event that brings healthcare manufacturers, wholesalers, dealers and distributors together under one roof to design new ways to grow the healthcare market globally and share innovative ways to dispense better and quality healthcare services.

Established over three decades ago, this conference cum exhibition event is generally viewed as a must attend global event in the healthcare calendar, as it offers an ideal environment for companies to showcase their products to participants from across the world.

In the 2009 edition of the event, the organisers are expecting an increase in the number of participants and exhibitors, compared to the past years. The 2008 edition of Arab Health exhibition showcased products and services from more than 2200 exhibitors representing over 65 countries. It also attracted more than 45,000 healthcare professionals from all over the world as participants.

Arab Health is the business destination of choice for the Middle East market, which is estimated to be close to $100 billion per year.
