Drug maker Aurobindo Pharma has received US administration's approval for Sertraline Hydrochloride oral concentrate primarily used in the treatment of depression and anxiety.  The company received US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) nod to manufacture and market the drug.

The approved drug is the generic equivalent of Pfizer's Zoloft oral concentrate, used for the treatment of major depressive disorder in adults. This is Aurobindo's 82 Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) approval from the USFD.

Earlier last month, the company received final approval from the USFDA to manufacture and market Risperidone Tablets used to treat conditions which affect the way one thinks, feels or acts.
