MakroCare to setup 3 clinical trial centers in India in 6 months PDF Print E-mail

The US-based MakroCare, clinical research organization (CRO),  is all set to open three more offices in various parts of the India.  The company currently operates from a facility located in Hyderabad.

MakroCare provides clinical research support to pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. It also offers site selection, patient recruitment, project data management, clinical monitoring, quality assurance, medical writing, pharmaco vigilance, biometrics and regulatory assistance to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. The company has already invested Rs. 4 crore in its Hyderabad facility. The company plans to offers multiple trials to the customers. It has a good pipeline for the year of 2008-09.

The company is also looking to provide electronic medical record (EMR) and business process outsourcing (BPO) services to the companies in India as well as the US. The new service will be launched in another three months.

MakroCare, which provides full-fledged and comprehensive services for complete clinical trial data management, has already implemented oracle clinical software for faster and more accurate data management. According to the company, it has helped it to achieve greater efficiencies and improve timeliness and to optimize the trial cost.
