Promedica International (PMI), has established a new strategic alliance with ClinInvent, an India-based CRO

Promedica International (PMI), a US-based Contract Research Organization (CRO) providing services to the medical device, biotech and pharmaceutical industries, has announced the establishment of a new strategic alliance with ClinInvent, an India-based CRO. ClinInvent combines its clinical trial skills and experience with its genomics and proteomics research services and offers services in the area of discovery research trials and patient registries. It serves Indian markets through its corporate office in Mumbai and other offices throughout India. The company’s services include clinical trial management, data management and bioinformatics, pharmacovigilance, medical writing, quality assurance and GCP training.

PMI chose to formalize the alliance with ClinInvent based on the latter’s cultural similarities in terms of client orientation and service.  According to Mr Ellen Palo, PMI founder, the PMI-ClinInvent combined experience and service provider relationships in clinical research facilitate implementation of projects in North America and India. The PMI-ClinInvent alliance creates opportunities to offer clients outside India the advantage of access of Indian sites for speedy clinical trials.
