Telemedicine, facilitates modern Health Care by connecting specialists in urban areas with patients and medicos in remote locations. Lately MICS Band offers Wire Less Monitoring, Pre Emptive and Fast response in Life Line services and Cardiac Care. This saves precious resources, lowering medical expenses and insurance costs.

FICCI supported by WHO and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare had organised International Conference on "Medical Electronics – Advancements on Products and Embedded Systems" in December 2006. It was the first of its kind in Asia, where the Medical Electronics fraternity envisaged a designated FICCI M.E.FORUM which will enlarge the scope and opportunities in this sector. FICCI-MEF aims to have a unified voice of the medical electronics fraternity in shaping the future of this industry in India and increase value generation.
