Grandix starts producing ReNerve from Strides US FDA facility PDF Print E-mail

Grandix Pharmaceuticals Ltd, the Chennai based branded pharmaceutical marketing company, along with its parent company Strides Arcolab Ltd, Bangalore, has started manufacturing its brand 'ReNerve' (for diabetics neuropathy) from Strides US FDA facility.

'ReNerve' is number Grandix Pharma’sone brand  contains methylcobalamine, which has been used very widely by medical fraternity for managing diabetic neuropathy. It is one of the top most selling brands in this methylcobalamine segment with has a turnover of 30 crore, said S A Manikandan, who is managing director of Grandix Pharmaceuticals as well as CEO - Brands of Strides Arcolab Ltd.

Strides Arcolab, which is among the world's top 5 soft gel capsule manufacturers, has 13 plants in India, the US, Brazil, Mexico, Poland and Italy. ReNerve is a brand name with many ingredients such as methylcobalamine, alpha lipoic acid, inositol, folic acid, chromium polynicotinate & selenium dioxide

Grandix, which has an annual turnover of about Rs 80 crore, is engaged in the marketing of anti-diabetic, anti-hypertensive, neuropathy, anti-cholestrol and neutraceutical products.  Strides R&D has been continuously working on ReNerve in improvising the formula for the last three years and the facility has been approved by global regulatory bodies like US FDA, UK MHRA, TGA & MCC. Strides Arcolab Ltd, which has globally acclaimed R&D and formulation development facility, is a dominant global player in regulated markets like US, Canada, Europe, Latin American markets like Brazil, Mexico, Venezula and Australasia. Grandix has major plans to manufacture most of its products from its parent company Strides Arcolab Ltd.
