Orchid gets Canadian nod for piperacillin/tazobactam injection PDF Print E-mail

The Chennai-based pharma major, Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd (Orchid) has received approval from the Canadian TPD (Therapeutic Products Directorate) for its ANDS (Abbreviated New Drug Submission) Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd for injection.

Orchid is the largest manufacturer-exporter of cephalosporin bulk actives in India and produces antibiotics like cephalosporins, high-end betalactams, monobactams and carbapenems, also non-antibiotic products for central nervous system, cardiovascular, gastro-intestinal, pain management and osteoporosis therapeutic categories.
