Alma Lasers, a provider of laser, light, and radiofrequency-based aesthetic devices, has announced the FDA 510(k) clearance and launch of the Pixel CO2, its newest fractional, ablative CO2 solution.
According to the company, this new system represents the best of both worlds for skin resurfacing, as it combines the effectiveness of an ablative approach with the patient comfort level and convenience of a non-ablative solution.
The Pixel CO2 system and recently approved Pixel CO2 Omnifit handpiece have been designed to equip physicians with the company's unique Pixel Perfect treatment, the newest method in laser skin resurfacing, the company said.
Howard Kelly, CEO of Alma Lasers, said: "We are thrilled to serve as a partner for our current and future network of physicians, helping them enhance their practices with superior skin resurfacing treatments. We strive to provide an unparalleled array of low-cost solutions for anyone currently offering or looking to build innovative skin rejuvenation treatments into their practice."
